I\'m planning to buy a CAT any time soon and was just reading back the threads in this forum to gain some valuable advice.

I would like to ask, do these CATs (DV, Trados etc) also deal with Japanese? I can imagine the being able to make fuzzy matches depends on the ability for the CAT to pick single words out of a text, which in the case of languages that do not use spaces might be difficult.

As these CATs are so widely used I assume that they do have this function, it is just that I\'ve never seen it mentioned or seen examples of it..

I\'m curious to hear your comments.

Thanks,
