I am considering speeding up the process of translating the ever increasing material, and would like to buy a CAT tool. I would like to hear experiences of people who have been using them for a while and their recommendation which one to choose.

Thank you

There are some reviews in the CAT forum Jun 9, 2001

Last fall ProZ.com ran a survey on CAT tools. See what colleagues thought of the various tools at that time by going to the CAT Center

You can do a feature-by-feature comparison, selecting the functions important to you, and see what vendors and users had to say.

Hi Henry,

Can you restore the link to the CAT CENTER?

I want to sell a copy of Trados Freelance Edition 3.1 with its original hardware key. Telling Trados Corporation about the transaction the buyer has the right to benefit discounts on upgrades. This means that if you want to upgrade to version 5, you can benefit of a discount granted to all owners of previous releases.

I\'ll sell my copy of Trados to the best bidder.

If you are intrested in it, write to the following address:

Stick with DejaVu. See one of the threads above to get more info about this package.

I am selling Trados Freelance 5.5 that I bought for €968.76.

What is the maximum price you would pay for it?

Best regards

Wordfast Jan 28, 2003

Self explanatory subject line. The easiest to learn (If you know Word, you know quite a bit on Wordfast already), one of the most complete - more functions then you will even believe - everything can be configured, use almost no disk space, support networking, online support extremely competent, ...and did I mention it is the cheapest too?

Wordfast cheapest? Jan 29, 2003

Is Wordfast still free? There was some confusion over this recently.

If it is, it costs the same as OmegaT. Details at www.marcprior.de/OmegaT/OmegaT.html.
