Hello,

I have received 140 Autocad files from the client in DWG format. I would like to know how to count the total sheets of these 140 files.

Kindly help me on it.

Thanks in advance

You may try this workaround:
1. Install Autocad 2013 and its VBA module;
2. Install Transtools for Autocad in Autocad 2013. Please see http://www.translatortools.net/autocad-about.html;
3. Extrac text from Autocad with Transtools for Autocad;
4. Then you will get a tabular-like word file;
5. Count words in Word program or your CAT.

You may have to repeat step 1 - 4 for 140 times.

A DWG file viewer? Sep 11, 2013

If you do not have AutoCAD, maybe a starting point would be to use a DWG viewer? The best one I have used so far is Autodesk's Trueview, which you can download from here.
