PractiCount and XML files

Hello

PractiCount should be able to count in XML files, it seems, at least the XML icon appears.
It doesn't give any error message but it counts 0.
It also seems that it's impossible to save this kind of files in another format.
I can see not only the text but also all the codes or marks.

Thanks for any comment, it's the first time I see this kind of files.

Think you have problems with XML-file per se Oct 28, 2004

I test XML-file now with PractiCount (v. 2.4). All normally. Results:

Document Words Characters with Spaces Characters without Spaces Gross Lines Printed Pages Lines Pages

I have been told that usually Trados can also count XML files, but with these files it couldn't.
But I managed to open them with Dreamweaver, then saved as html and then I could count. But still, there's no explanation for the strange files.
