Gracias don Camilo.

Yes indeed, what a pity Jan 17, 2002

I read quite a few of his novels (La Colmena, Mrs. Caldwell habla con su hijo, Mazurca para dos muertos,...).

Beautiful work by a great writer...

TOPIC STARTER
Otomo, I read the news from Uruguay, my home country. Jan 17, 2002

As I have been living in the USA for only two years, I am still in the habit of reading uruguayan papers over the internet.

That\'s how I learnt about Cela\'s death.

I do not even know if one word has been said about his death here in the States.

Regards,

Bertha
