Hola,

Gracias a un compañero en el forum de familias multilingües he sabido que en teoría se puede recibir por satélite los canales de la BBC. El problema es que en Madrid parece que la señal es bastante débil.
Sé que hay gente que lo recibe medianamente bien alrededor de Barcelona, pero me gustaría saber si alguien alguien lo recibe correctamente en Madrid y qué diámetro de antena está utilizando.

junto con toda la gama de canales alemanes de libre difusión. El problema surge cuando empleamos la antena de la comunidad. Está preparada para recibir Vía Digital, Canal Plus, etc., pero nadie más en el edificio se interesa por los idiomas.

Tengo entendido que no es el caso en la costa, donde muchos de los vecinos son extranjeros.

PD: La antena es pequena (no llega a 0,50 m) pero el receptor es potente.

The BBC digital channels (BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4, CBBC, CBeebies, BBC News24) are transmitted from the Astra 2D satellite at 28.2º East. They are not currently scrambled and can be watched using any digital satellite receiver.

The beam is focused on the British Isles, which means that to receive it as far away as Madrid you need a 2.0-metre dish to ensure 24/7 reception.

As the footprint shows, NE Spain falls just within the 90-cm dish boundary.

The drawback is that a 2.0-metre dish does not come cheap, and needs to be installed on a suitably strong surface - not clipped to your balcony.
