Messages will be exchanged from powwow to powwow, making it a unique experience and offering a chance to say Hi! to other colleagues around the world. More details will be provided as the date gets closer, but the first Translators Day powwows have been posted already: http://www.proz.com/powwows Never attended a powwow before? Don't miss this unique opportunity to meet colleagues and reach out across the world with one message. ProZ.com powwows are free, informal events -- all you do is show up! Check the powwow board and sign up for the powwow nearest you. Don't see any powwows in your area? Suggest one! If there are no powwows scheduled near you, you can suggest one. If you are a ProZ.com member, or have had your identity verified, starting a powwow in your town can be as easy as choosing a time and place (often a restaurant), and then taking attendance when the event is held. You don't have to promote the event or even speak at it; promotion is handled by ProZ.com, and the events are unscripted. Give it a try – you might be surprised to find out how many ProZians live close by! Propose your powwow here . Joining this global celebration will undoubtedly represent a unique, one-time experience. Be part of realizing this extraordinary endeavor!
