Does anyone know of a good email subscription, in French, for a "Mot du Jour?"

I subscribe to Merriam-Webster's English "Word of the Day," as a native English speaker. I would like to find something similar in French, to continue the learning process.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Thanks, Angio, but I'm not looking for a beginners' course - I have been studying and using French for more than 40 years.

A tailor-made site for you ! Aug 23, 2009

Good evening,

Since your French is fluent, you could visit this site with a high profit. They seem to know many unused or forgotten words. Moreover, there is often an etymological or historical explanations, sometimes comparisons with homonyms or light is made on some subtilities. You learn one new word per day.

http://lemotdujour.over-blog.com/5-categorie-2501.html

A language looks easier is better accepted when its difficulties are explained. I hope this site will respond your needs.

I did not see any proposed subscription on this site. Your subscription wil be your daily visit and regular learning of French vocabulary !

Kind regards,

Philippe
