Hello Proz members!
I would be delighted if anyone could provide assistance with a language query. I teach an Iranian refugee English and she needs help with hairdressing terminology as she has just won a job in a salon. Her customers will be English-speaking so any online resources (ie lists of Farsi-English hairdressing terminology) would be really helpful. Hairdressing is not my field of expertise!
Many thanks,

Hi Rachel Nov 25, 2004

I think that what you're looking for is too difficult and might not exist.

But you could look for English monolingual ressources, glossaries and online courses for hairdressing. She doesn't need Farsi any more for her job, she just needs English. The most helpful ressources would be photos and descriptions.

Just an idea

Yes, I am hoping for an English/Farsi hairdresser on Proz, perhaps unlikely! Even simple English resources would be a help, so I will Google this and see what comes up.
