You can use Print Screen button to copy the screen and then paste in the Paint program.

Just like in any other application. A screenshot is an image of your entire monitor, not a specific application window. My laptop has a "Prtsc" key for screenshots; this may be different on your computer.

HTH,

Exactly in the same way as in any other Windows application Sep 5, 2008

ALT+PRINT takes the screenshot of the active window, PRINT alone produces a screenshot of the whole screen.
The data is stored in Windows Clipboard.
You can then use Paint (a Windows component) to produce an image of it.
Or if you have Corel Photopaint, simply start this program and press then CTRL+SHIFT+N for creating a new document from the content of the Clipboard.
You can also simply use Word - open a new document and say "Paste" (CTRL+V), then you will have your image inside the document.

If you're using Vista, the snipping tool might come in handy? Not sure if it exists in other versions of Windows.
