Hi!

Is there a convienient way to enter a non-breaking space in Transit Next (unlike the cumbersome Alt+0160)?

I think that you can use Transit's built-in macro feature to assign a non-breaking space to a keyboard shortcut. You can also use AutoHotkey to do this system-wide.

In addition to the answers above, you can also open the character map (found on the Windows ribbon) and just keep this open. Just click on "NON BREAK. SPACE" to enter one.
