I did a translation work in Transit XV build 333 and now would like to reuse its translation memory for translating in trados for a nother project. But when I imported the .tmx file which exported from transit XV into trados, i failed. After examining the format of .tmx from transit and the .tmx required by trados, i find that they are quite difference. I'm so confused by that. So, what should i do and how to do it? Could you give tips? Thanks a lot!

Fist of all, my Transit "about" says build 552 and I do know there have been some corrections of Transit-to-tmx export quite recently - so perhaps updating your Transit might help.

I usually process the tmx exports from Transit in Heartsome tmx editor (paid, 30 days trial for free) before importing them to Trados. Do you want to use the Trados memory for Word/Workbench or TagEditor? You should process tags accordingly and select the tmx format according to this requirement.

Last thing, you may have to edit the

< prop type="Project"/ >

to

&lt prop type="Project"> < /prop >
