Excellent advice Dec 14, 2016

Your suggestions are really practical, gives new translators a glimpse of the real world.
The points about CV are superb, I occasionally translate CV English Spanish and... when I kindly (and carefully) suggest to downsize it to one or two pages most of my clients think I'm kidding.
I personally like having a one-page CV adapted to what my potential client wants to know about me. Boring CV don't catch your potential client eye, but tawdry or kitsch coloured CV can end up in the bin.
Thank you very much.
Kind regards,

Jesus.
