"A translator normally relies on glossaries, translation memories, dictionaries and Internet resources, in addition to his knowledge and experience.
Always use the translation memories and glossaries along with the concerned style guide provided by the client to assure consistency. "

It's standard practice... but sadly not the prerogative of everyone Aug 31, 2010

"Quality management for freelance translation projects" is a MUST-HAVE for anyone considering themselves as professional translators...

If you do respect that and do not only reduce your work to a quest for money you may well worth to deck yourself out with the 'Freelance Translator' status!

Please, observe that the 'FREE' word enclosed does not stand for 'at liberty' but for 'independent' and 'autonomous'.

Well done Chantal!!
