Bilingual Certificate? Jul 30, 2010

Great! Now we can prove our qualifications by attaching a functional magnetic resonance image of our brains to our CVsicon_biggrin.gif

Wonder what the brain image of a trilingual would look like ...

Bilinguals are faster..............is that so? Jul 30, 2010

Whoever undertook this research had clearly never worked in a certain Welsh Further Education college- that would have skewed their results.

Faster than whom and more efficient at what? Jul 30, 2010

Of course we translatoras are the cream of society, the salt of the earth and absolutely indispensable.

But as I am told I am not a true bilingual, only ´functionally bilingual´, my English teacher would put a big red line under the heading of this thread and several question marks after it.

I am sure it is true, but as they say in Kudoz, More context, please! May we have all the self-gratifying details? Thanks in advance... icon_biggrin.gif

Of course...! But everything comes to a turning point, where properties begin to deteriorate. So far, only the best abilities of bilinguals has been demonstrated experimentally ...icon_biggrin.gif
