Arabic-Persian as bridge of the East and the West Aug 27, 2010

Many Indian books on history of science can be traced back to their Arabic-Persian original texts. In the Middle Age, Arabians translated many Greek, Roman and Chinese scientific and engineering books for local scholars. When Persian occupied parts of India, exchange of scientific and mathematic knowledge governed a significant cultural heritage to the Indo-Chinese subcontinent and its language vocabularies. Now this Arabic-Persian starts to play another cultural bridge through Urdu University.
