I love this bit: "Of course in order to become bilingual you probably need to go to a particular country and live there for a few months, it takes that level of practice."

A few months? Right.

Bilingual Jun 21, 2012

Few months? I have been living in Belgium for 25 years and I do not consider myself bilingual... I'm quite fluent in French, I write, speak and often dream in French but I'am not bilingual by any stretch of the imagination...
