Allow me to make a small correction here, it is a Sanskrit epic written at around 5th to 4th century B.C. This epic has various versions in many South Asian Countries as well as in many Indian languages, including Hindi. Perhaps Mr Seyyed is using Hindi Version for reference. Best wishes to him for this highly commendable effort of editing the Persian translation. Interestingly, this book is held in high esteem in every Hindu household and there are numerous temples in India dedicated to the characters of this epic, who are revered as gods in India. Thanks for sharing this interesting piece of information.
