Moscow-based RU-EN translator and interpreter Michele Berdy's weekly column in The Moscow Times is a treat for many RU-EN translators; usually it is on the subject of the Russian language and culture. This week's is of more general interest to translators AND THEIR CLIENTS, even though there are a few Russian words thrown in for spice (you don't lose anything if you can't read Russian).

Susan,

Thanks for sharing! About 3 weeks--no "kid"ding--I started researching goat farming!

http://www.roosterhillfarm.com/journal/archives/2006/09/20_truths_about.html

That sort of cooled my enthusiam, and now the kids that were being sold down the road are gone. Oh, well ... maybe next year!

Love it! Dec 6, 2008

Of course one can do both... Isn't Noni both a translator and a pig farmer?
