I have a large repository of CJK documents (e.g. MS Word, Quark, InDesign) that I need to convert to XML, which then will be converted or transformed for delivery on the Internet.

Does anyone have experience with CJK standardization (i.e. the use of Unicode rather than some specific font, etc.) and automating the conversion of documents to XML?

For example, I am not sure how to handle the conversion of ruby text in Japanese (http://www.w3.org/TR/ruby/) from Word to XML.

Please let me now when you have a moment.
