Hi All,
I am translating (for myself this time) a travel permit for my daughter. Not my usual field. What does one do when the original document includes a bar code? I'm thinking you just write: (bar code) in the space where the bar code is. Is that correct? Thanks very much.

Guessing that the barcode is an image file: copy the barcode over to the translated document, placing it in the same spot as the source document. If it is a text segment, well, try the same.
I don't know what the barcode is for, but since it is a travel document, it might be important. I wouldn't just write "(bar code)"and leave it be.

Thanks to all for your comments. Amazing how long a little document like this can take to translate.
