Hello all,

Hi there,

Does anybody know exactly how the automatic substitution of measurements in Trados Workbench works?

For example, if I have a match with the measurement “40 cm”, would it be automatically calculated and converted to inches?

Thank youuuu!!!!

No such functionality Jan 10, 2006

As far as I know there is no such functionality in Trados. You will have to use a measurements converter (try a google search) and provide the equivalent manually.

Trados does have such a function. Jan 10, 2006

Options > Translation Memory Options

Under the Substitution Localization tab, check the bottom box "Measurements" and select either Metric or US.
