Not a good start to the year - my second Trados technical query!

I had successfully translated 23 of 29 PPT slides using T-Window for Trados when it suddenly displayed the Visual basic \"Error 429 - Initialising Error\" message. This is followed by \"Runtime Error 91. Object variable or With block variable not set\" (sic).

The Trados website explains that this has something to do with how the graphics were inserted. I have removed the graphics but it doesn\'t help.

Can anyone help me please?

Have you contacted Trados Support? Jan 2, 2003

I have had a similar problem, but the causes can be varied - PowerPoint is, of course, notorious for formatting problems...

Your best bet is probably to contact Trados support and ask them to have a look at the suspicious slides.

Problem has mysteriously corrected itself Jan 2, 2003

Hello Ralf,

That\'s a good suggestion, I will contact them about this. In the meantime, I have created a new version of the file and retranslated it, and the problem has mysteriously disappeared.

Thanks again,
