Looking for blank Spanish-language certificate forms (templates)

I often translate birth or marriage certificates from Spanish to English, and sometimes I can't read the small print on the certificates if they're scanned or faxed. I have several templates I've compiled over the years, but every so often a new one comes along. At the moment I'm stumped by the second page of a marriage certificate from Colombia.

Does anybody know of any websites where one may find blank forms?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Trudy

Not hardly Aug 24, 2008

Well, just how many forms are involved, from how many countries, times and locations?

Not hardly. Ask your clients to provide better copies, or to expect (illegible) in a lot of places.

This may help Aug 24, 2008

It happened to me some weeks ago when I was asked to translate some medical handwritten files which were illegible.
I let the client know and just suggested to put "illegible" where it corresponded.
Anyway, I tried to find some templates and found the following site:
http://resources.lawinfo.com/en/Free-Legal-Forms/index.html.
Here you can find different templates for business, family law, education, etc.
It may be useful, at least to get some idea.
Good luck

Thanks, Henry and irene, for your responses. Apologies for being late!

Yes, I know there are legal forms one can download and, in retrospect, it makes sense that you can't get blank birth, etc. certificates. I ended up refusing to translate an entire page, because the printed as well as handwritten parts were too illegible. Client was OK with it.

Thanks again!
