Hello,

there are a lot of specific words in translations that I need to know and I have to jump
to Kudoz to check for the word.

Kudoz is a bit annoying because I have a predefined number of words that I can post
etc. and its pretty complicated to use.

Is there a independent forum or website where I can post a question quickly
and can get an answer?

Regards,
Mirza

At least one such site exists... Oct 10, 2008

But because of site rules here, I can't tell you what it is. Search around in Google and you'll probably find several.

What do you find so complicated about consulting Kudoz? Can't you open two/three tabs, predefine the language directions, and search? Don't you have to search one by one on other sites?

Please be more specific about your Kudoz troubles Oct 10, 2008

I understand that you say that asking questions in Kudoz is tricky. It is not my experience really. If you want to make a good question and get good answers, the information requested makes a lot of sense: classification of the matter, context, a description of your doubt... all the rest is pretty optional I reckon.

And if what you need is to do searches in Kudoz, you can also use Google for that (add "proz.com" to your query term).
