Hi,

Today I posted on my translation blog something that might interest you. It's an article about using Google Books for terminology searches. I found out that Google Books, when used together with a Firefox add-on called "Add to Search Bar", can be very productive and speedy. The whole thing is very simple, and it takes only a few minutes (or seconds!) to set up.

Firefox 3.5.2 not compatible Sep 3, 2009

Hi Fabio,

thanks for the tip, but the search add-on seems not to be compatible with the current Firefox version 3.5.2. Is there another way to make it run?

Kind regards

Noe

with these search settings it should also work with Intelliwebsearch:

Finish=+&btnG=Search+Books
Description=Google Books with full or partial preview
Notes=
Quotes Off=No
Pluses Off=No
Encoding=UTF-8
Interword Separator=

Kind regards

Noe

I think it is Sep 3, 2009

Hi Noe,

I have Firefox 3.5.2 myself and the Add to Search Bar add-on is running OK. I don't see any compatibility issues, at least not with the English version of Firefox 3.5.2.

Have you tried to install the right add-on (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3682)?

Noe, thanks for the Intelliwebsearch strings Sep 3, 2009

I use Intelliwebsearch too, and the strings you provided will certainly be helpful.

Thanks a lot!
