Hi all,
My speciality is Swiss companies' incorporation and By-Laws, but now I have to tackle an Eng > French translation of By-Laws of a company incorporated in the Bermuda Islands.
It would be great help if someone could indicate a model thereof online, in French.
Thanks a million.

Some suggestions

Given that Bermuda uses British common law, as does Canada, with the exception of Quebec, I looked in our handy-dandy legislation site, under New Brunswick, the only officially bilingual province and thus the one province with legislation available in both languages (aside from the federal government), and thought their Companies Act may be of use to you. http://www.canlii.org/en/nb/laws/stat/rsnb-1973-c-c-13/latest/rsnb-1973-c-c-13.html As you can see, you can toggle between English and French. This may be helpful, if only for terminology. I also found sample bylaws in English and French at http://strategis.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/cd-dgc.nsf/eng/cs01366.html. Hope this helps.

Yes my By-Laws go by the Companies Act so the link to it is very useful for terminology.
At first I thought this Companies Act regarded only the Bermuda Islands, now I see what you mean about the Bermudas using British common law.
Many thanks!
