Hello to everybody!

I'm a student at the Insubria University in Como, Italy.

At the moment i'm writing a thesis on the inluences of information technologies on the world of translation. It's an overview of the various technologies existing for translation, from machine transaltion to CAT.

In the section regarding CAT tools i would like to place a survey on the use of CAT tools by translator and i would be really grateful if you could answer to it.

It consist of 27 general questions about CAT tools. The most of the questions are multiple choice and if you don't find an answer that satisfy your opinion you're free to add it in the "Other" answer.

You can answer at the survey by quoting this message or by opening and modyfing the word file at the below link and e-mailing it to the address that you will find inside.

Every comment, critique and suggestion is extremely appreciated, also if you want to suggest other question that you think should be included in the survey.

Thank you very much in advice! I really appreciate it!

Best regards,

Lorenzo Mondini

p.s. I'm not sure that this is the right section.
