Good news for all involved in the translation of French-German-French:

"Since the task of responding to the avalanche of requests for a German-French counterpart to the existing dictionary has become as time-consuming as actually setting one up, we have, after much deliberation, opted for the latter alternativeicon_smile.gif This has primarily been made possible by cooperation with Leinhäuser und Partner Fachübersetzungen, who have provided us with a start-up vocabulary of approx. 150,000 entries. Furthermore, we also hope to receive more vocabulary contributions from you, our users, just as you have so generously provided us with so much content for the English version (unfortunately, due to capacity reasons, we will not be able to process individual contributions until after the start-up of the new service). Needless to say, the new dictionary will be available for public use free of charge.
The start of the new service is planned for early 2004, by which time the content and technical requirements should have been satisfied...."

Was für eine erfreuliche Nachricht!!! Nov 21, 2003

Auch in meinen Übersetzungen DE-FR-DE benutze ich immer Leo + GDT.
Und was Online für DE-FR-DE derzeit verfügbar ist, kann man mit Leo wirklich nicht vergleichen.
