Hello,

I am looking for good English>French Financial and Accounting Terminology Bases, whether to download or on-line.
Specifically for US accounting termonology if possible.(also looking for good US Legal Eng>French terminology bases and idioms too).

I see some of themon-line but they are not complete.

I have my own ressources but I want to see if I can find better ones.

Good day.

So why don't you share what you have and tell us what is lacking?
Perhaps the multilingual SAP will help you? (English, German, French, Italian)

Hello,

Yes of course I will tell you some of the tools I use (I can't list them all as I have many depending on the context and domain)!

http://www.granddictionnaire.com/btml/fra/r_motclef/index1024_1.asp

And then other various generalist web sites that are quite good too.

I find the "Grand Dictionnaire Terminologique" really really good and I found many words with it.

However it lacks some specialized financial and accounting idioms.

For example recently I asked question about how to translate "Black letter law and white collar crime" and I noticed that proposed answers varied a lot.

Of course the context is a major factor.

I hope that now you will help me complete my ressources.

Good day.

Try Termium (it has both).
