Does anybody have a recommendation for a program that is good at finding and replacing words or phrases in multiple files? Especially MSWord?
I am working on a large project with 150 files that need phrases updated and changed, and I was hoping to find a tool that is reliable.

I just used the SDLX package (SDL Trados Suite 2007) to find & replace files (e.g. *.itd file for SDL Edit). It is quite very convenient.

I can recommend a "Search and Replace" utility (http://funduc.com). Simple and easy to use.

Yes, this is a very good little application. Besides Word (both 2003 and 2007) on that site you will find also application for batch find and replace in Excel (ExcelSR) and Power Point (PwrPtSR).

As easy to use as a classical notepad. It highlights the terms you search, and since this is a portable version of the software, you don't even need to install it!

Batch Word Find and Replace??? Dec 10, 2010

I have tried to download about six different programs now, and every time the same program opens. Does that mean there is only one on the market with a thousand names?
Sold by Technocom.
