Hi,

I'm translating an Upper Secondary School Leaver's Certificate from Swedish into English. The certificate however is from a Swedish Upper Secondary in Finland - but still comes under Finnish education policy. When having translated Swedish leaver's certificates in the past, I've been able to use Skolverket.se's own guidelines and terms for translators, posted on their website. The Finnish equivalent however, http://edu.fi/, does not seem to offer such a service. Does anyone happen to know if there is a resource out there, that would provide an accurate and approved match for some of the terms used in this context?

Many thanks!

S

Hi,

You should find some useful information on the Finnish school system by visiting the website of the Finnish National Board of Education: http://www.oph.fi/english

Hope this helps!

Thank you, Merja - had actually looked at that site before, but went back as per your advice and found a lot more information that I think will be of use!

Appreciate it!

Kindly,

Sara
