I have an assignment, I need to find references on the Web that will explain when to use the currency signs before or after the total amount. Can someone help me?

Hi Sol,

Let me paste the reference, it's a very good one, and it was exactly what I was looking for. I actually posted a question on ProZ, I didn't know about the Forum...learn something new everyday.

here is the reference, I hope it helps you as much as it helped me:http://publications.eu.int/code/es/es-370301.htm#chiffres
This was my question URL http://www.proz.com/kudoz/742108.

Saludos

Thanx, Lisa, it might come in handy. It didn't surprise me that in English it's backwards,, I still have problems with the weights and measures. But it did surprise me that we are not supposed to use the abbreviations in Spanish.
