I have been struggling with finding a way to get this into SDL MultiTerm for use in my Studio 2014 environment.

I have downloaded the massive tbx from the IATE website, and also my individual language pairs from www.multifarious.filkin.com, but both are too big for either MultiTerm Convert or the Glossary Converter app from OpenExchange.

Does anyone know of a source for an already-converted tbx for either the whole termbase or specific pairs? I don't want to buy an advanced text editor to separate the files myself...

I am looking for EN-ES and EN-PT

Henk Sanderson is your man! Feb 7, 2015

Hi Jason,

You need to contact Henk Sanderson (http://www.proz.com/translator/1672159 ), who offers the whole thing ready to be imported into any CAT tool via his new website: http://santrans.net/ (for a very modest fee)

I'm happily using my own copy in my CAT tool (CafeTran), and many others have reported similar successes in other tools (Studio, DVX, Wordfast, etc.).

Try this: http://santrans.net/

It is not entirely free, but it saves an awful lot of time...

Seems that Michael just beat me to it... icon_smile.gif

IATE at Trados Oct 17

I know this discussion is a bit old, but I have to say it: having IATE at our fingertips while translating at a CAT tool is wonderful. I hesitated a little bit before purchasing it because I wasn't sure if European Portuguese would be that useful to me, since I work with Brazilian Portuguese. However, despite the differences, it's really, really useful. Henk Sanderson did a very good job. Definitely worth it.
