Hi,
Has anybody used the following Japanese to English / English to Japanese translation software and how do you find it? Does it help you to translate more efficiently and faster?

These two tools reportedly are compatible with Trados. I'm seriously considering purchasing either tool to speed up my translation. The idea is let the software do a draft translation and then I'll polish up the work by proofreading.
I've tried the trial version of Atlas V9 and it's quite simple to use. However the translation quality is a bit less satisfactory. I can't find the trial version of LogoVista Pro though. I wrote an email (in Japanese) to the LogoVista company asking for a demo copy but the company didn not respond.

* See my language software review site which lists independent reviews (+ walkthrough articles by tool vendors) concerning many types of language processing software/systems. http://www.geocities.com/langtecheval/ There might be reviews listed there for the Machine Translation (MT) software mentioned above.
* I conducted an in-depth study of all English Asian language MT software/systems in 2000 to consider MT partnership opportunities. During that period I attended a technical workshop concerning the Translingo system which was the rebaptized name of the Atlas software suite for corporate level implementations. The Atlas system has problably had the most development work (over past 20 years) of all Japanese systems.
* For information about the usefulness of MT software in general for professional translators, do a search on the word mtpostediting here on Proz to find the threads that I have posted on the topic.
