Why is this search engine different from all the other search engines that we have known so far?
While other search engines provide links to possible answers for a given search, answers.com provides the actual answer! Therefore it is the right tool if you want to know the meaning of a word or an idiom, the birthplace of a certain historical figure, or the current weather in a certain city.
Answers.com provides direct answers to search queries, using a variety of reference sources, such as reliable dictionaries, encyclopedias, and websites. To avoid a lot of scrolling it provides a Contents Box that allows you to jump to each section of the Results Page.
