Hi!

Does anyone have a web site that lists the differences between US and UK spelling and grammar?

It would be really useful!

Thanks

valuable links Jul 26, 2002

Gillian,

When in doubt I usually consult the site below for the most valuable advice (or is it advise?)

http://www.alt-usage-english.org/fast_faq.shtml

The site below is the most comprehensive compilation of UK/US usage (at least I haven\'t found anything better on the Net):

http://www.peak.org/~jeremy/dictionary/dict.html

The two sites above contain truckloads of links and that should get you rolling.

Happy readin

MM

Americanization Jul 28, 2002

There is an agencie based in London, American Pie, which actually specialises in translation between UK and US English. It is run by a person called Josephine Baker who I believe is a member of the proz.com community. Their website is www.americanization.com I believe.

Hope this helps
