Hi everybody !
I've heard about a search engine called 'ask.com'. Is it a new one ? Do you use it ? Is it better than Google ? Thanks in advance for your replies.
Krys

It has been renamed Mar 6, 2006

It was formerly known as askjeeves.com
I have used it a couple of times. They pretend to beat google which is hard to believe and implement!

I liked it better before they booted the butler. Mar 6, 2006

ask.com is supposed to work differently from Google, but I haven't gotten into it enough to tell. I use it occasionally and it sometimes comes up with some interesting results that weren't on Google's first couple of pages.

I have read an article that said that www.ask.com was going out off business. That is a pity because I am using it a lot.
The difference with google is that you can ask questions.
