Hello Colleagues,

I found this new and useful tool that I love to share with you!

You may use it online or download it by clicking on the following link:

http://wordnet.princeton.edu/2.1/WordNet-2.1.exe

It has good and useful options. Size is about 17 MB.

To use it online, click the following link:

"WordNet® is an online lexical reference system whose design is inspired by current psycholinguistic theories of human lexical memory. English nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs are organized into synonym sets, each representing one underlying lexical concept. Different relations link the synonym sets. Over the years, many people have contributed to the success of WordNet."

WordNet by Google... Jul 11, 2006

Thanks, Waleed!

I've used WordNet before online, mainly to answer KudoZ questions, and I found it by using one of Google's tools:

You type define:any word (no space between the colon and the search term) in Google's search box, and Google returns all the definitions it can find for that term.

Almost always, it returns a definition by WordNet.

But I wasn't aware that WordNet was also a tool you could download!
