Hi dears !

Would you know any (good:)) online dictionary specializing in IT : software installation. I tried to search on the glosspost and other information available on proz but could not really find what I need.
Urgent job.....

That's an excellent suggestion.

I use a grep utility (Funduc Search and Replace - http://www.funduc.com/ - it's not free but there are lots of freeware greps knocking around, too) to mine the very bulky MS Italian glossaries when I have to.

Of course, you can also open individual CSV-format MS glossary files in Excel.

I made a TM out of it Jul 16, 2006

because I need expressions in Slovenian language. Comes to 36 MB - not THAT much.

And I have a possibility of doing concordance search.

All glossaries have two languages, so I recommend you the Spanish glossaries, which carry the equivalencies into English. You can search them in Spanish or English and you have to take into account that this is ONLY MS lingo, which can prove rather useless depending on the topic.

Funduc S&R is great, but you should give ApSIC Workbench a try. It's (still) free and can import MS Glossaries directly.
