I have discovered a link, similar to the one for the Off Topic Forum, for access to the Powwow Organizers Forum. It is:

http://www.proz.com/?sp=bb/viewforum&eid_c&forum=32

So bookmark this in Favorites if you think you might want to visit this forum or post in it (which you can do from the link at the bottom of the page).

On the opening page of Proz, just abobe the new forum postings, you see a link \"see more discussions\". When you click on it, you can see all the available forums (fora?), icluding the \"Powwow Organizers\" and \"Off Topic\".

Dear Csaba Nov 29, 2002

So you\'re another one!

I know now that somebody else sees the same thing than me!

You wonder what I\'m talking about, because it sounds so simply!

There have been several discussions about the Off Topic Forum because

this is not true. We are just a few who see that. I have contacted several moderators to see if I could see it because I was one of them, and they answered that they couldn\'t see what you\'re talking about.

I thought you might be one of those who see the same thing than me because you started discussions in the powwow forum. But if you pay a little attention you\'ll see that the six latest subjects or threads remain with NO answer. May be being invisible is a good reason !

I don't get it... Nov 29, 2002

When I click \'Discussion forums\' on the left hand menu bar I see ALL forums, including Powwow organizers, Off-topic, Spanish off-topic, and so on. I thought it is exactly how it supposed to be..

Is this a privilege, Claudia? A Platinum feature?

Magda

I am Platinum and I do not see those Nov 29, 2002

Hi...

I clicked on the left hand side \"Discussion forums\" link... I also click on the \"See more forum discussions\" on the main Proz page and I do not see these forums (Powwow organisers, off-topic... spanish off-topic??? -> That\'s News to me!!!)

So there is a problem as most of us do not see those forums in the regular MAIN forum page where all the other forums are listed.

Hope this clarifies things a little,

Nathalie

I have no problem with Spanish Off-Topic Nov 30, 2002

I have found this listed in the Forums main page since it was started earlier this month (at the bottom of all the foreign language forums), so I didn\'t know that anyone was having problems with this too, but if you want it, the link is

http://www.proz.com/?sp=bb/viewforum&forum=47&18

Ahhh I see it now :-) Nov 30, 2002

Thank you Jack, I had not paid attention to the last entry in the foreign language forums.

Got it icon_wink.gif

Many thanks... I like to read Spanish, it helps me in learning this language and Proz is a good source for this.

And I do not see the Powwow Organizere forum either.

Do you see those?

And the smilies? Dec 1, 2002

I do not have any smilies (emoticons), though I know others people have them because they use them.

Shouldn't be a privilege Dec 1, 2002

But seems to be. It\'s not a platinum feature, it\'s not a privilege for moderators, it has nothing to do with KudoZ, and just a few proz members can see them.

Guess

What is it ? icon_wink.gif

Just joking, Henry said he\'s working on it.
