Hi there,

I am looking for a EN>IT or FR>IT (ideally EN/FR>IT ) on ancient weapons (daggers, swords, axes, clubs and hammers and the sorts...). But up to now I have found only monoligual resources.

Do you know if there is a bilingual resource that can help me?

Thanks in advance!

ancient weapons... Apr 5, 2007

...hmmm difficult subject, maybe the local army/war museum could help you out on this one..

The only thing I could find were reference to books:
"A Glossary of the Construction, Decoration of Arms and Armor: by G.C. Stone"

Hutton, Alfred. (1890) Fixed Bayonets: A Complete System of Fence for the British Magazine Rifle, Explaining the Use of Point, Edges, and Butt, both in Offence and and Defense; Comprising also a Glossary of English, French and Italian Terms Common to the Art of Fencing, with a Bibliographical List of Works Affecting the Bayonet. William Clowes and Sons Ltd. 183 pp.

some sites:

some glossaries:

Maybe these people know where to look:
