English to Chinese

Hi everyone, I am a graduate student majoring in applied linguistics. Now I am doing a research on machine translation as the term paper of the course Computational Linguistics. I compare five online machine translation systems. The criteria of evaluation are intelligibility and fidelity of the translated texts. I need native speakers of English and native speakers of Chinese to help evaluate them. If you are interested in the evaluation, please go to http://www.webpoll.org/guest/MachineTranslationEvaluation.htm
. If you have any comments and suggestions, you can tell me or e-mail me at
liyueyuely@gmail.com .
I will be very grateful for your help.

I have just done poster's evaluation, and I must say I find it supremely reassuring that virtually none of the machine 'translation' examples were anything cloe to proper English.

I don't think I'm out of a job just yet... icon_smile.gif
