I have recently bought Trados 5. I find it a very good software solution, but not easy to use for the first time. I would like to learn on my own, as I cannot attend a training course... any hints?

Cuando empecé a trabajar con el Trados no tenía mucha idea sobre cómo utilizarlo. Lo tuve que comprar por motivos de trabajo - dependía de eso mi participación en un gran proyecto.

Sabía lo básico sobre el Trados y a medida que iba haciendo hacía cosas nuevas aprendía más sobre su utilización.

He recurrido muchas veces también a los foros para solucionar las dudas que tenía.

Te recomendaría que le echases un vistazo a esta página http://www.transref.org/, Expert Opinions, Cat Tools Reviews, Translation Memory from O to R. El artículo trata sobre Trados y otra serie de programas. Te explica los puntos básicos.

I had the same problem getting started. Go to the tw_users list at yahoo.com, join it and search for their dummies guide. It really helped me get started.
