Hi,
Have any of you guys get an ATA certification in PA?
I went to ATA website and the only host test sittings in big cities like NY or LA.
If any of you did it, how difficult is it? how long did it take?
Thank you in advance for your comments.
Ady

Examinations given all over Apr 11, 2005

You might want to check a recent issue of the ATA Chronicle for upcoming test dates (sorry, don't have a recent copy handy). They are given all over the US at various times during the year. Failing that, you might wish to contact the Delaware Valley Translators Association ([email protected]) or the National Capital Area Chapter of ATA ([email protected]) to see if exams are being given this year. Most chapters sponsor at least one exam per year.

When I wrote the exam, it lasted three hours. IMHO, it was difficult enought for an amateur not to pass it, but no so difficult that a pro would not pass it.
