Dear colleagues,

I just got back from Istanbul, where I welcomed the year 2004 into my life. I must say that I have spent the best days of my life and I will never forget the hospitality, beauty and openness of the Istanbul people.

To those prozians who have never visited Istanbul-- please do!
To those living in Istanbul-- thank you for creating such a wonderful atmosphere!

I loved this city. And when the bombs exploded - I suffered and loved it all the more, not less.
