Merhaba,

Ilk kez Multiterm ile calisacagim. Musteri Glossary file'lari (.lok, .mtw, .mta, vs. uzantili 8 tane file) gonderdi. Bunlari nasil acacagimi cozemedim. User manual da cok anlasilir degil. Yardimci olursaniz sevinirim.

Merhaba Mine,

Benim Multiterm ile hiç deneyimim yok ve tabii burada biri açık seçik anlatırsa çok daha iyi olur ama o zamana kadar veya çok acilse, "SDL Trados Support" forumunda bilgi bulabileceğinize inanıyorum ("Technical Forums" sekmesinde). Mesela burada sizinkine çok benzer bir soru sormuş birisi:

Anladığım kadarıyla Multiterm Convert adında bir aracı kullanmanız gerekiyor, ki Multiterm'ün bir parçası olsa gerek.

Cok tesekkurler Ozden,

Senden yardim beklerken "Multiterm Convert" olayini ben de user manual'de buldum. Multiterm'un daha onceki versiyonlari (benim durumumda Multiterm 5) ile yaratilmis Glossary'leri guncel .xls formatina cevirmek icin kullaniliyormus. Denedim, tam oluyordu ki bu kez de "The conversion option could not be initialised properly" mesaji ile kilitlendim. Problemi musteriye ilettim, yanit bekliyorum.

Sorry to hijack this into English -- but did you figure out a response to this error message? I'm getting the same problem with a termbase I'd really like to use.

No Michael, unfortunately I could not find a solution for this problem. The agency agreed to continue without Multiterm.

I've been trying to convert an Excel file to MultiTerm format using MultiTerm Convert, and I keep getting this error message. Then I found this article:

This article says that Excel 2000 is NOT supported by MT Convert (although the Convert's help states that it is supported). Hope this helps someone. ▲ Collapse

Mine Hanım,
Size yollanan sekiz dosya içinde .xdt uzantılı bir dosya olması gerekiyor. Bu dosya Multitem Termbase'inizi yapılandırmak içindir.
Yeni bir Multiterm Termbase oluşturun ve oluştururken de karşınıza 2. adımda çıkan iletişim kutusunda "Load an existing Termbase definition file" seçeneğini seçin. Bu şekilde yeni Termbase'i oluşturduktan sonra, yollanan dosyalar içinde XML dosyası varsa doğrudan bu dosyayı "import" edebilirsiniz.
