Hi,

Just downloaded the trial version and then realised that there was practically no help available unless you are a licensed customer...

I used to work with Multitrans at work, and before leaving I exported the TM in a TMX format, or so I thought. But when I try to import it in Wordfast Pro, it says error, the folder is empty...

I still have all the original aligned documents, so I could recreate the TM but can't find out how to do that with Wordfast...

Any help would be greatly appreciated:-)

Thank you

B.

Wordfast Help May 28, 2009

Hi Bernadette,

You can view our online help pages here (even if you are running the demo version) - http://www.wordfast.com/Wordfast_Pro/Wordfast_Pro_Help.htm

Also, we have step-by-step training videos available at our online video learning center here - http://www.wordfast.com/support_learning.html

In regards to your TMX import issue, could you please send me the TMX that you are trying to import into Wordfast so my support team can take a look at it. You can email it to kmarrero@wordfast.com.

Sincerely,

Kristyna

Without licence, the size of TMs is limited to 500 entries, and there is no alignment function provided in Wordfast Pro ...

Maybe you'll want to try out the Accross Personal Edition, a full version which is free.

But it's not platform independant and needs MS Office.
