I've just downloaded the demo version of WordFast for Mac OS X and am playing with an Excel file (comes from Windows, and it's not .xlsx, it's just .xls, so I'm guessing it's MS Office 2003).

I have translated a few segments and now I want to see how good the final file is. But how do I tell WordFast to save the target Excel file?

Many thanks, people.

I think it's just the menu option "save translated file"?

I know I will feel dumb for asking this but... Sep 13, 2009

Ok wait, where exactly is that "save translated file" command? Or maybe, what I really want to ask is, how do I delete the source segments in the document so that I can save just the target (translated) segments?

Yes I'm a total noob to this and I'm using Word 2007.

The save translated file command in Wordfast Pro can be found when under the file menu.

Is it possible you working with Wordfast Classic, our MS Word-based tool? In Wordfast Classic, to create a final target file you would click on the Wordfast f to open the setup dialog box and then click on the tools tab check off the files you want to cleanup and click cleanup.
