People,

I have an xls file with some text already translated. Is there a way to make it into a WordFast Translation Memory (and not a WordFast glossary) so that I could receive translations for segments that are like those but not identical to them? Thanks in advance.

Third, shorter way Nov 9, 2009

Copy the two columns into a Word file, then you have a table which can be used directly in PlusTools (no need to align, just hit the "Create TM" button in the +Align tab). Then use the created TM in order to translate the rest of the Excel table.

wiki has been updated with the shorter way - good idea!

The two columns must be copied together Nov 9, 2009

If they aren't side by side, first delete (in Excel) all other columns which are in between.
